Pakistan’s military industrial base better than India’s: Indian Army Vice Chief

NEW DELHI Jul 26: Indian Vice Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Sarath Chand has admitted that Pakistan has a better industrial base than their country.

An Indian news agency reported that Chand stated, ‘Pakistan probably has a better industrial base, as far as defence production is concerned, than our country.’

Chand lamented on India’s failure to cope with Pakistan in exporting defence equipment.

He slammed the factories over unable to keep up with advancing technology and not making efforts regarding research and development.

He went on to say that seeing ordnance factories changing in the present state was hard.

Chand also blamed that the country’s own “allies” have disappointed them when whenever the country has faced crisis.
