1600 km Tour De Sindh Cycle Rally concludes, Naseem Ahmed of Hyderabad gets 1st potion

KARACHI: A great entertaining and sports activity The Tour De Sindh Cycle Rally with 55 cyclists concluded in Karachi after completing 1600 kilometers . Naseem Ahmed of Hyderabad claimed first position while Karachi’s Ali Ilyas and Muhammad Irfan clinched 2nd and 3rd spot respectively. The race started from Ghotki on April 2. The Tour de Sindh race was organized by the Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Ministry in collaboration with the Sindh Cycling Association (SCA). The race comprised of 14 stages. The participants, travelling under scorching sun, started from Ghotki passing through Guddu, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Sehwan Sharif, Bhit Shah, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Umer Kot, Mithi, Badin, Thatta and reached Karachi yesterday. Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar graced the occasion as a Chief Guest and distributed prizes amongst winners. Naseem Ahmed got Rs 1 million while Ali Ilyas and Muhammad Irfan got Rs 0.8 million and 0.6 million respectively.
