Singers welfare trust protests against corruption in Cultural department of Sindh

BADIN July 30: Sindh Singers welfare Trust district Badin has staged protest against corruption in Cultural Department of Sindh on Saturday, here in-front of Badin Press Club.

The protest were led by renowned singers Badal Rahi, Azad mazari, Ali Mohammad Shahani, Sayed Akhtar Shah, Arbab Niyaz Nohrio, Bagi Hanif Khoso, Amar Ansari, Allah Dino Junejo and others have staged protest in-front of Badin Press Club, while addressing the protesters they said that Sindhi singers, poets and journalists have faced troubles because of alleged massive corruption in cultural department, adding they told cases of massive corrupt over officers and adviser and minister of cultural department of Sindh should filed soon and responsibilities of this department must be handed over to sincere and trustworthy persons of Sindh.

Moreover, they said that Sindh Govt should fixed the honorarium of the poor and needy singers and journalists of Sindh province. They demanded from elected new Chief Minister of Sindh Sayed Murad Ali Shah to initiate an inquiry against Sharmila Farouqi and her others staffers in alleged corruption and stern action.
