SHIKARPUR July 31: Speaking to a joint press conference held at Shikarpur Press Club here on Friday noon, the activists of Azad Social Welfare Association (ASWA) Shikarpur and the political parties leaders have allegedly said that the present PPP Sindh government was not seemed sincere in obeying the order by the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan for holding Local Government (LG) Elections on 20th September 2015 anyhow but the selfish and opportunist rulers belonging to Sindh government were making out efforts to get the (LG) Elections postpone which attitude of the Sindh government was against the interest of the people of the province who were badly facing the problems in their areas and were looking for the early constitution of local bodies institutions to settle the public problems at the local level for which there was very need of ensuring the holding the local government polls as per order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Mairaj uddin the general secretary of Azad Social Welfare Association (ASWA), Moulana Abdul Fatah Mahar of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F), Muhammad Eidan Jatoi of Pakistan People Party Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-SB), Zahid Hussain Bhambhro of Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT), Maqsood Ahmed Mirani of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and others have in a press conference threatened to launch serious protest movement against the delaying tactics if exercised for postponement of the local government elections.
However they have demanded of Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan to take serious notice into the matter and the take legal action against the Sindh Government which was involved in adopting the political tactics showing the cause of unfavorable situation appearing due to flood and monsoon rains in the province.
They have also requested to Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan not to postpone the local government (LG) elections for one month only so that the local government elections could be held very soon in the larger interest of the people when all the political parties were fully prepared to contest (LG) election.
