Hundreds unemployed as local factories of cardboard closed

BADIN: The common workers of the picking up the cardboard in across the Sindh specially in Badin district are facing the severe troubles because of the imposed the ban and sealing of the cardboard and recycling factories by the Environment Department of the Govt of in districts Hyderabad and Kotri stating cause of the violation of the laws and regulation. The cardboard and recycling factories have sealed due to failing to install the treatment plans in the factories to control the big amount of the pollution created by the factories during its working hours and no any other solution made for dispose up of wastage of these factories. The workers who pick the scraped and wasted materials from the streets and roads of different towns and cities usually and sale it to the shop of the local recyclers and turned their living as easier to meet their daily domestic expenses.
The unemployment at the local level is being increased extremely due to the closure of the cardboard and recycling factories and stopping to buy the stray pieces of the cardboard by the owners of the cardboard and recycling factories.
According to received reports from the different sources, more than hundred shops of the recyclers are in district Badin where more than thousand poor workers including men, women and children who are working there and picking up pieces of cardboard and other materials for resolving the hardship of their lives. These poor women, men and children are picking away the stray pieces of cardboard and any material in different towns and cities of the district are now feared to turn their lives hard because of sudden closure of the cardboard and recycling factories in Hyderabad and Kotri because all picked stray pieces of cardboard were sent to these factories for its recycling process.
Other hand, former president, Peoples labor Union, district Badin, Mohammad Iqbal said that more than thousand families of the workers who picking up the stray pieces of cardboard and other material in district Badin are facing extreme and intensified grieve adding he told Govt should install the treatment plan in the cardboard and recycling factories and take immediate effort to ensure its re-opening. He said the poor women and men who pick up the stray pieces have been succumbed of the unemployment and starvation. He demanded from the Govt of Sindh to take special efforts in order to re-open cardboard and recycling factories in Hyderabad and Kotri as employment of the poor people of district be restored and end the restlessness and disquiet of the poor laborers.
