Seminar for Lady Health workers, Midwives, Family Welfare Workers held in Jacobabad

SHIKARPUR Dec 30: An annual motivational Seminar with Leady Health Workers [LHWs], Community Midwives [CMWS] & Family Welfare Workers [FWWs], regarding Family Planning & Post Abortion Care [FP & PAC] was organized by Save the Children at Jacobabad Institute of Medical Science [JIMS] in Jacobabad on Friday.
Dr, Ashok Khetpal, the District Coordinator National Program for Health Department, was the chief guest while Director JIMS Dr Zubair Shaikh was honorable guest in the program.
Muhammad Waqas, the filed officer, Dr Zubair Soomro, the senior health manager, Misbah Anjum the senior community mobilization officer and Maryam Brohi gave presentations on family planning and post-abortion care, which was being provided free of cost at the health facility.
Dr Zubair Shaikh, the Director JIMS, shared their updates in the program and urged over people to reduce population ratio.
Dr Saima Memon, highlighted the importance of family planning and primary health care’s eight components especially on family planning.
The appreciation shields and certificates distributed among LHWs, CMWs, FWWs.
Dr Zubair Shaikh, the Director JIMS, in his closing remarks, praised the services of Save the Children for well-being of the masses, especially for better health of mother and child.
Dr Ibrahim Sarki, Dr Hamid and senior journalist Waheed Phulpoto and a large number of LHWs, CMWs, FWWs attended the seminar.
