SHIKARPUR Jun 03: The villagers of villages including village Tenda, village Halipoto, village Jhali Kalwari, village Bhambhri-g-Wand, Habib Kot, Sherkot, Tando Bahar Allah Bakhsh Khoso, Karam Khan Shar, Dadlo Tarap, Union Council Ruk, UC Imrote Sharif and other said at village Allah Bukhsh Khoso that Ruk pump station was established in 1968 but now due to negligence of concerned authorities and political interference the system of Ruk pump station has been destroying for four and half year adding 07 motors out of 27 have been working therefore sewerage water doesn’t drain out due to which more than 1000 acres of Agricultural land has been affecting since long program organized by Strengthening Participatory Organization [SPO] on Friday.
The Ghazi Amanullah Khan Magnejo, District Council Member was the chief guest on the occasion while Manthar Khoso, the Union Council Chairman and Manzoor Kkhoso, the Union Council member were the honour guest in the program.
Abidan Zafar the district coordinator Shikarpur said that SPO has launched a program citizens first human security in Pakistan in which we are highlighting basic problems and we are moving its problems to higher authorities in this regard we have also met with Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Sikandar Ali Khushk while underlined the issue of Ruk pump station so that the problems of the villager could be resolved but we could not make any thing possible till the villagers also would take part in this campaign to resolve their issues.
On the occasion, villagers demanded of the high-ups to take notice of the matter and play their role to provide an electric connection from newly built Madeji grid station instead of Lakhi Ghulam Shah and to take efforts to repair motor pumps so that all the motors could able to drain out the sewage water from area.
Local notables including Nizamuddin, Dad Muhammad Khoso, Farman Khoso, Nadir Ali Mughnejo and renowned poet Qamaruddin Khoso, Sattar Fakir, Pathan Ahmed and Bashir Ahmed and other were also attended the public gathering.
