Babies use smartphones & tablets before they can talk

The Sindh Times Web Desk Apr. 26: Researchers have revealed a vvery interesting study that more than a third of babies are tapping on smartphones and tablets before they can talk.

The study also shows that by the time they are 12 months old, one in seven tots are using devices for at least an hour a day.

A study by a children’s clinic found very young children are exposed to gadgets in surprisingly large numbers.

Of children aged one and under, 36 percent had touched a screen and 24 percent had called someone.
