Education Department is committed to enroll more children in government schools this year

DADU Jul 12: Deputy DEO Primary, Ali Akbar Memon has said that District education department is committed to enroll more children in government schools this year as compared to last year. He was addressing to participants in seminar, organized by Local Support Unit in collaboration with UNICEF titled as Sindh Enrollment Drive 2019, held at Government Talib ul Moula High School Dadu in town on Thursday.

He said that District education department has already planned to organize rallies at UC level and advertised “Sindh Enrollment Drive 2019” campaign on FM and cable television in different areas of the district to create awareness among the people. He said that government schools are providing quality education and this was proved when students of government schools managed by IBA HMs, secured key positions in different educational entry tests, taken by SEF & ISMO.

A big number of educational officers including DDEO Salma Joyo, AEO Abdul Salaam Memon, TEO Abdul Shakoor Arain, TEO Habibullah Soomro, TEO Farah Naz Channa, TEO Maryam Solangi, TEO Zubeda Memon, FP Muhammad Bux Korai, Head Masters including Ghulam Nabi Panhwar, Mian Muhammad Pirzado, Manzoor Samejo, Liaqat Naich, Adam Panhwar, Aijaz Gohar, Hafiz Rehman Korejo, Ameer Hamzo Memon, IBA-HMs including Niaz Abro, Aijaz Rasool Shah, Amjad Joyo, Syed Mazhar Shah, Izhar Memon, Imdad Solangi, Shumail Shaikh, Saba Hussain Memon, Monitoring Assistants including Abid Ali Solangi, Zahid Baloch, Hakim Deepar, Shafique Rehman Panhwar, Mazhar Lahbar, Nazir Ahmed Solangi, RC SESP Aijaz Chando, NCHD official Pahalwan Magsi, Journalists and civil society members attended the event.

Earlier, District Coordinator LSU Qurban Bhutto briefed the participants about enrollment campaign and said this seminar is the follow-up campaign initiated by worthy minister education, Syed Sardar Shah, secretary Qazi Shahid Parvez and CMP Asif Ikramullah
