SHIKARPUR Nov 28: A disable person set up a protest camp against occupation of his property by his younger brother out side of Shikarpur Press Club here on Saturday morning.
As per details a disable primary school teacher [PST] named Ghulam Shabir Larik told this correspondent at protest camp that his younger brother namely Rashid Ali Larik tortured him and beaten up aimed to occupy his forefather property including a house and two shops which are situated at Stuart Ganj area of Shikarpur while his younger brother does not allow to him to enter in home.
He further said and added that he went to concerned police station but police refused to lodge NC against his younger brother and they failed to provide justice.
While the leader of disable persons including Agha Muneer Pathan the Chairman Special People Foundation [SPF] of Shikarpur, Aftab Ahmed Mirani the President [SPF] Shikarpur chapter, Zahid Hussain Junejo the General Secretary [SPF] Shikarpur, Allah Warayo Mirani the General Secretary, Pakistan Association of Blind [PAB] Shikarpur chapter strongly condemned the incident of torturing on a disable person and occupying his property by his younger brother.
They demanded of the District and Sessions Judge Shikarpur, Deputy Commissioner [DC] Shikarpur Abid Saleem Qureshi, Senior Superintendent of Police [SSP] Shikarpur Nasir Aftab Khattak and other higher authorities to take notice of the matter and provide justice to their disable colleague from his younger brother otherwise they threatened to extend their protest movement across Sindh.
A large number disables persons including Iqbal Ahmed Change, Eijaz Khoharo, Riaz Hussain Soomro, Altaf Hussain Mangi, Khushi Kakepoto, Abdul Haleem, Mumtaz Ali Kakepoto, Bashir Kakepoto and other were also present on the occasion and they were chanting slogans in favor of their colleague.
On the other hand civil society of Shikarpur strongly condemned the incident.
